The Estate Chalet

The Estate Chalet is a spectacular property located in one of Whistlers’ most coveted ski in neighbourhoods, Horstman Estates. This custom built home has been created to take advantage of the mountain views and natural light. Horstman Estates is located in the main resort, just above the Fairmont and Four Seasons hotels. The ski-in trail from Blackcomb ends up literally at the doorstep, and the ski-out trail is a leisurely 500m stroll down the lane.

This luxury property has vaulted ceilings, a large great room with views, a custom built basalt rock spiral staircase and three other lounging areas. The house was designed with entertainment, enjoyment, and functionality in mind. The living room has a floor to ceiling fireplace, a grand piano and opens up to the gourmet kitchen with four burner gas stove, double oven, griddle, grill, warming drawer, espresso machine, 1.5 dishwashers and built-in vegetable steamer.

All five bedrooms have ensuite baths, three bedrooms including the Master are on the top floor, two bedrooms are on the lower level. The lower floor is all about recreation complete with a steam room, pool table, bar, cinema with floor to ceiling screen and even its own ticket booth and popcorn machine.

There is a large front deck with views over Whistler Village, a balcony of the master bedroom and a hidden deck out  in the back of the property with a private hot tub and rock fireplace.

The garage has ample space, ski racks and a boot dryer with a mud room with heated floors and cubbies making it easy to start and finish the ski day.
