Horseback Riding in Pemberton BC Western Canada
Horseback Riding multi day adventures
Spend three days and two nights in BC’s spectacular Coast Mountain Range. These expedition trips leave civilization. The ranch is located in the Pemberton meadows a mere 35 minutes from Whistler.
Our multi days experiences start on a Friday morning at 9 am and return on a Sunday afternoon during our regular season. Regular season runs from about the first of June to mid October depending on the snow. During this time, you’ll explore the beautiful mountain range between Birkenhead Lake and Tenquille Lake. Rivers, lakes, forests, alpine meadows, old packhorse trails and single track await your expedition. Sure-footed gentle mountain horses will carry you to each campground where our guides set up camp and cook a dinner around the campfire. Over the three days you will get to know the horse that we have picked to match your abilities and learn to appreciate their nature.
Bright and early on the first day of the expedition, we’ll drive you to the base camp from our ranch in Pemberton where you’ll meet your horse and guides. The first day will find you riding 15 kilometers to our base camp where you will then meet up with your luggage (maximum weight of 30lbs). Our base camp is equipped with a hot shower and outdoor plumbing along with tents mounted on platforms to provide that extra level of comfort for our guests. From there you’ll enjoy day rides to various locations of interest (mines, viewpoints, lakes and more) with each day ending with campfire evenings and comfortable tent lodgings.
The price will includes guides, horses, tack, shelters and tents plus seven meals, beginning with lunch on the day of your arrival at base camp. Sleeping bags can also be provided if required.
